Women's Ministry fall programming

Southeast’s Women’s Ministry has opportunities for all women to get connected.

Southeast Christian Church’s Women’s Ministry has opportunities across multiple campuses for women at any age or place on their journey of faith to find community with other women and deepen their relationship with God.

Single Moms Groups

At Southeast, there is space just for single moms to grow in their faith together.

The Blankenbaker, Crestwood and Indiana campuses offer single moms groups, where women can be themselves, share their joys and struggles and find a community of support and encouragement with other single moms. These groups are for single moms of all ages, and childcare is available for each group.

The Single Moms Community Group at the Blankenbaker Campus group meets Sundays at 10:45 a.m. in AT 109. This group spends a portion of its time together walking through a book or Bible study, but new ladies can join at any time. For more information, contact Jenny Brown at jebrown@secc.org.

The Indiana Campus Single Moms Support Group meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in the Café with a meeting following in Room 230. No registration is required. For more information, email indiana@secc.org.

The Crestwood Campus Single Moms Group meets Sundays, from Sept. 2 to Dec. 2, at 9 a.m. in Room 190 C. Register online at www.southeastchristian.org. For more information, contact Rebecca Moore at rmoore@secc.org.

Indiana

This fall, the Indiana Campus is offering many groups and studies to connect women to Jesus and one another. One of the best ways to learn more about getting involved in one of these areas is through Real Women Connect hosted monthly in the Café at the Indiana Campus.

Real Women Connect is an opportunity for women who are new to the Indiana Campus or Women’s Ministry to grab coffee with Women’s Ministry Leader Jodi Seevers and learn more about her ministry.

The next Real Women Connect will be Sunday, Aug. 26, after worship services in the Café. Registration is not required. For a complete list of Women’s Ministry groups at the Indiana Campus, visit www.southeastchristian.org.

Crestwood

Many Women’s Ministry groups and studies are kicking off this September at the Crestwood Campus, including “God Seeker,” “Open Your Bible,” “Living Beyond Yourself” and “What Matters Most.”

“What Matters Most: A Study of Philippians,” is a seven-week study through Paul’s letter to the Philippians. This study will look at relevant topics today’s women face, like relational conflict and anxiety, and learn what the Bible has to say about them.

Beginning Sept. 19, “What Matters Most” will meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in Room 190 C. Childcare is available and registration is online. For more information on this study or other women’s groups at the Crestwood Campus, visit www.southeastchristian.org or contact rmoore@secc.org.

La Grange

The La Grange Campus Women’s Ministry will launch Real Women’s Groups on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings in September.

Join La Grange Campus Women’s Ministry Leader Karissa Sites on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary to find community with other women and study God’s Word together.

Childcare is available by contacting Cheri Erskine at cerskine@secc.org. For more information, contact Kathy Berry at kberry@secc.org.

Blankenbaker

The Blankenbaker Campus Women’s Ministry exists to make disciples who make disciples.

The Women’s Ministry’s intentional pathway of discipleship provides four unique opportunities for women of all stages of faith to cultivate a deeper relationship with Christ: Essentials, Thrive, Imitate and Welcoming Hearts.

Each environment is specifically designed to equip women in different stages of their faith journey with tools to take their faith outside the church walls.

Registration for Essentials, Thrive and Welcoming Hearts is available online at www.southeastchristian.org, and childcare is available. For more information on these environments, or for getting involved with REAL Women Imitate, contact Jenny Brown at jebrown@secc.org.

Southwest

The Southwest Campus Women’s Ministry will present a six-week study on “The Quest” by Beth Moore Wednesdays, Sept. 19 to Nov. 7.

Women will have the option to attend sessions each week at 10 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. The study is designed to lead participants through Scripture and into intimacy with God.

Register online at www.southeastchristian.org. For more information, contact Jennifer Choate at jchoate@secc.org.
