There’s so much to celebrate this Christmas.
On Wednesday, Dec. 1, everyone is invited to an Old-Fashioned Family Christmas in the sanctuary at Southeast Christian Church’s Blankenbaker Campus. Retired Southeast Senior Minister Bob Russell will speak, and The Master’s Men will sing Christmas carols.
WDRB-TV reporter Lawrence Smith will serve as the master of ceremonies for the night.
Chapel in the Woods Campus Pastor Murphy Belding said the free event is the perfect opportunity to kick off the Christmas season.
“This is the night for the whole family to hear from our beloved Pastor Bob Russell, to enjoy The Master’s Men and sing favorite Christmas carols,” he said.
“This night is for all ages,” added Becky Clark, who directs music at the Chapel in the Woods. “My prayer is that the night is God-honoring as people come together to celebrate Jesus’ birth.”
