During Southeast’s Mantra sermon series, Country Lake Christian Retreat in Underwood, Indiana, will hold five weeks of Southeast Pop-Up services.
The services will be Sundays, Oct. 20 through Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. in the Country Lake Worship Center. Services will include live worship and a simulcast sermon.
“Our heart is to build community among our Indiana congregation, especially those who live further north,” said Indiana Campus Community Pastor Bryson Koch. “We want to build relationships and pull people in to hear the Mantra series, which will shape the future of our church.”
Following the Oct. 20 service, Country Lake will provide food and “Stay and Play” activities such as volleyball, basketball, ultimate, GaGa ball and fishing (bring your own gear).
“Stay and Play” activities to be announced at a later date are planned for the remaining four Sundays.
Attendees are encouraged to wear active attire or bring a change of clothes.
Hayrides, which will run every 30 minutes, will give guests a chance to tour the property. Stay and Play will end at 2 p.m.
Guests should enter through Entrance 3 and follow signs to the Worship Center. No children’s programming will be available.
